T-bill yield drops to 2.90% as demand soars to new excessive

What occurred?

I used to be upset to see the outcome for the most recent 6-month Singapore T-bill public sale. The minimize off yield for the 6-month Singapore T-bill (BS25103S) public sale on 13 February was at 2.90%. This might characterize a decline within the T-bill yield in comparison with the cut-off yield of three.04% within the earlier 6-month T-bill public sale on 28 January.  It could even be the bottom yield on the 6-month Singapore T-bill since August 2022.  Naturally, there have been many others within the Beansprout Telegram neighborhood who have been dismayed with the decrease yield.  On this submit, I’ll share what led to the lower within the cut-off yield within the current 6-month Singapore T-bill public sale.
